As a child, I never understood why adults pretended to be happy, but really weren't. As an adult, I still don't understand. Short invite: come to this retreat and let's discuss. I've been facilitating retreats like this for 7 years.

Long invite: I wasn't happy, or just 'being,' when I was diagnosed with clinical severe major depression in 2014. I was ready to be dead and had pretty much failed at balancing the art of adulting. Oops, how did I get here? Am I doing it right? (I wasn't).

I wasn't into rainbows and glitter and positive thinking. Sorry, I'm just not like you. There's a major line that needs to be drawn between mental health and spirituality and I needed very real one on one therapy to sort out the mess in my head. This retreat is not for you if you're in this stage (contact me separately and I can refer you).

It's been a long, humbling road and I still barely know the answers. I do, however, really, really, know how to facilitate retreats, be a fellow human, listen, teach a damn good Yoga class, and organize things like this. Like... I'm really good at those things.

Bring a notebook. Expect to write, optional sharing; dive deep into your subconscious patterns and behaviors. Learn specific tools to show up for yourself in your own emotional and psychological life.

Take responsibility for your life and discover that you’re the only one holding you back from feeling happy and just ‘being,’ without the feeling of something missing.

Get dressed, show up, be brave, do the work, change your life. This is your birthright. I love you.

~ are interested in exploring your inner world in the context of movement, meditation, journaling, and dialogue. 
~ consider yourself a non-spiritual person.
~ consider yourself a spiritual person. 
~ consider yourself to be a Yoga person.
~ have never rolled out a Yoga mat before in your life.
~ identify as a human womxn.

Those who would never sign up for these types of things are especially encouraged to attend <3
